More Golf bye bye Poker see you soon

So after the the last month or two I've been too busy with work life and playing golf in my spare time.... Still have the love for poker but still taking a step back on the tables... Played the Gcasino £1000 the other week on Friday evening and came 12th out of 92 which was OK lost a big flip with A 10 vs K J and got river ed same old.. Hopefully meeting up with the lads soon when Amatay hits Kent for a game of pokes down G which should be a good old crack before he goes to shag all the He'shes in Asia.

Since i was 12 years old loved playing golf and played till i was 21 then stopped after finding Beer, Clunge and Weed got my golf pushed aside... now since March this year I've joined Whitstable and Seasalter Golf Club where i started playing the game until i was 16 before i moved to Chestfield Golf Club. Having to get 3 cards in March to get a handicap earlier this year was a shock when i was given a 10 considering i got down to 6.4 when i was 21. So I've really got working on my game since and now got back where my game was now I've just be accepted as a 7day member so i can start playing Sunday morning medal comps and get down to 4/5 which is achievable.... Got a few goals in golf for the next year which is getting in the Kent League team for the club and play more Opens at other clubs in Kent and enter The Open qualifier next June which I'm hungry for.... Shot a few under par rounds but only a couple of -1's but manly shooting 2+ / 5+ Max, so i know keep working on it and it will all kick in nicely and step up to the next level

At Long Last... An Update

Right it been a fair few months since an new Blog post... Have cut down the vloume by 80% for 2011 compared to 2010 online so havnt got much to update with, just because ive been too busy with work and golfing every weekend. Had a few live Poker trips going to Botlon for the Rasietheriver APAT team event, Gcasino 1st FinalTable feature and a Weekend with Cogsgoigne playing the £40 freezeout and some live cash games down in sunny Brighton

Been playing a bit in my spare time but this month but i'll be many grinding the sats for the Sunday Majors, WSOP ME and the Miniftops Events.. and will update my results at the end of the Miniftops Main Event which i'll be playing for sure...........

Just one little other thing is a small congrats to Simon 'Amatay' Jones and Cos 'Greekstien1' for becoming the lastest pro's on PokerEncore which s on the Ipoker Network

Its been a while so i'll give you all a quick round up on whats been going on with Da Jakattack. Poker wise ive had some incred results in the past 3/4 weeks in some mmts, since Amatay has told to me to stop f-ing about with Mircos ive been getting in some good results in, now i hopefully keep getting more regular results and stay on that winning road

$17 15k Super Turbo KO -- 3rd $1700 + 24 $3 ko's

Mini Ftops was shocking ran like dog shit and took some sik beats there only played 4 events, Had a dabble with some $5.50 / $11 45mans managed to ship 2 $5.50 back2back and shipped a $11too with a bunch on min cashes aswell so some postive poker play which is spuring me on even more.

Yesterday i booked Flights/Hotel and Seat for the IPO Dublin 15th Oct till 18th which im looking really forward too, Going to finally meet my online hero known as the amatay haha and meet a bunch of the rasietheriver heads too at last... Playing on the Saturday 1B so flying up on the Friday to get some pre drinks and check Dubberz out, Only been to Ireland once last year i went to Belfast with work which was pretty cool so good too be going back.

To finish off this post im 28 years young today but have the joy's of having to wake up tomorrow morning at 6am to go to work, Work is slowing dwon a bit but to be frank i couldnt give a toss at the moment enjoy life and even have a bit of fit clunge in the pipeline.

Mini Ftops - Chipmeup and Future Poker

Ok then, Ive cut down on the volume of poker over the last month and reviewing my game selections which ive come to a conclusion Im going to stick to mmts, Going to play a bunch of MiniFtop events in September and looking forward too them aswell.

As you can see ive changed my profile yet again and have added a few new banners. The chipmeup.com banner is the newest and have been hooked to the site for a few days now and have brought a few shares in players in the Ftops events, My first share was with Jellycz who finished 37th for $800 and turned my $6 share into a easy $13 which is all good, So ive backed 2more for this evening Jellycz again off course and have brought a piece of Brandon Adams who is selling a great share for $0.31 so ive brought 11shares which is 1.1% of him @ Potential winnings per $0.31 share: $100

Well well ive passed my health and safety test at last 3rd time lucky then got home and booted up tables, Been hitting the 45mans and a handful of 90mans and have been get more good results. Also played a few $26 mmts which ive used my step 3 tickets with after working up from the step 0's, i came 20th in the 16k KO and topped up the br. Ive been set a challenge from arron at rainmanpoker.net too play 1500 in a month but have only played 300ish games in two weeks but really need 2 screens to do so but im trying hard on my lappy.... right currently sitting in the 6k super stack with 15k in chips at the mo so gona get back to it now.

Well after my work has slowed down im grabbing this time and working on my game..... Been working on up-ing my volume on sngs and boy!! its working well,
Monday morning started off with a bang and had a great result after booting up my 1st game a Mirco MMT the ferguson and took it down for $386 which boost the funds to play with, ive had a dabble with a bigger buyins 45man and got some good wins there too and playing well and running hot.....

Right got to shoot!!! time for 6 tabling now so it pretty tricky on a laptop might need to invest in a new set up if things carry on as they are....

I'm tilted already and haven't even played a hand yet, I'm no online pro but a successful online player and still have a full time job as a office furniture installer travelling over all Europe. As most people know these days you need a thing call a cscs card 'construction skills certificate scheme' basically a simple health and safety test which you need to get on site with. I passed around tens years ago with great ease but now you have to renew it and retake the test every 3years i think!!!! Ive just had to go and take the test again and failed... really pissed off that i cant pass a simple test but o well am i bothered...

I was reading Daniel Negreanu last 2 blog posts about the WSOP ladies event and totally agree with him..... Its about men playing in the event wtf!! (ITS A LADIES EVENT) which should be ladies only event. I think the WSOP should change it too a ladies only event, read Negreanu'sBlog WSOP need to sort it out really and have new rules in place i think its unfair and wrong that men can enter the event.

Ive been working on bankroll building as i tend too wonder off the correct level of buy ins when i get over $1000 bankroll roll, so i have taken a chunk out and working on a $50 Br and currently at $200 for the week playing $1 sngs and mmts. its not a great deal of $$$'s but I'm on the right road using discipline and the right approach, I'm only playing 4 tables max at a time which i feel comfortable with hoping to move to $5 45manners by Thursday and plan too put a nice volume every day this week 50+ games a day

Week Off Work and My Step Challenge

What weather for a week off!!! Im not planning to play silly volumes this week, but i have given myself a mini challenge which is to get 15 step 3 tickets. So im going to grind it up through step 0's then stop till Step 3

So far ive laydown $16 and currently have

3 step 1's

4 step 2's

4 step 3's

Then going too either hit $26 45manners or some GTD's mmts

WHAT YOU DO???? with step 3 tickets appart from the next step feedback more than welcome

Late Blog and quick round up for April

Well then been a while since my last post and what i can say. April was my best ever results for a month which saw me rake in a massive (in my eyes) $1358 mmt profit and $180 sng profit (ROI 207%), Withdrew $1200 and left some $$$'s to kick off May with. Fellow Rasietheriver peeps probably know that i had a great run in the 14.5k gtd and finished 4th taking $1340 which i was so pleased about playing well and running like god for 8hrs....

My plans this month are too hit the $3 ko 90manners and the 14.5k rebuy if i have any evenings spare plus in the FTPA main event 2nd round and WSOP main event $1 donkfest. I did turn 250ftps in 6500ftps and brought a cap in the shop and jizzed 2500ftps on ftop satties but was all good just look it as freerolling

Plus good to see Amatay back and well running hot and kennl has been running well too got some great results aswell.........

Well lets see what this month brings and hope we can all run and play well

Rollercoaster 2weeks

Need a little update........ Been a while after the last blog ive had the best 2weeks ever turning $12 in too over $250 on Fulltilt and over 55ooftps

Will write up a more very soon about it! Ive even won a €100 entry to a tourney on a forum too so things are going so great at the mo, WSOP seat event soon plus a few freerolls with over 12k up for grabs tomorrow too so hope my game stay's strong and those flips keep on holding

(Plus my beloved Newcastle Utd are just 1 point to go untill top flight football)

The only bad news in my life was the death of a close friend of mines father who studdenly past away 2 weeks ago (R.I.P Big Rob never forgotten)

Been juggling a busy work period and playing as much poker as i can in March.... Party Poker is where ive been playing mirco cash tables 6max and mirco buyin gtd's. I signed up about 5-6 weeks ago via the pokernews link where i got $25 to start and $25 bonus, came 17th in the 10k gtd speed and took $60 which really help the bankroll, I dend to stay away from cash tables but gave it a shot and currently $29 + 1000 hands on the 0.02 / 0.04 tabs which feels great too be up on a site, nearly busto on my Fulltilt after 2years with only despoiting £100 over that period which isnt to shabby in my eyes, Got a few $'s left and 670 FTP's to playing with so hope to built it again.

Work and Wins

After a week off poker again due to work and staying in London all week, i got up early saturday morning a played 2 games the ferguson and a $1 45 manner. Came 21st in the ferguson and 1st in the 45manner had won a $26 off $2 which i was happy about nothing major but it all helps,
Im going to play the 29k gtd and 3 $1 tourneys on FullTilt and hopefully have a good run again plus the 8k GTD on Party and a few freeroll on there too

Sunday Games 'n' Week Ahead

Just got back from a working trip in Germany for a week, On thursday night i played a live turbo rebuy tourney 20 starters 15€ entry. 3 Uk players ie work mates and 1 USA player and the rest were Germans we started with a 4000k stack, Germans were bluffing a stealing till level 6/7 then tightened up... Won 3 pots with KK, A8 and QJ got up to 9000k then lost a 3000k pot and was forced to shove A 4 suited when the blinds/antes were at 1000/2000 ante 100, just lost one more club and i would of been in great shape and finished tied 9th......

Right in a few Tourneys on Fulltilt this evening and will be playing in the BLT and Double Deuce, and a couple of GTD on PartyPoker looking forward to this as ive been running deep in mmts the last 2weeks, I rarely play on Stars and playing in my first WBCOOP entered for all of them and hope to get a bankroll on there at last.... Plus planning to play the Full Tilt Double GTD's weeks too low buying one and hopefully ship some big bucks again

After taking a bit of time off at the tables before Xmas due to a string of bad beats and bubbles. Shizzed of my hard grinded bankroll i built up during the last 6months, felt like it was a major learning curve that all good players go through once in the poker life. Ive made a small desopit after tuning up my game on freerolls and Play Chip tourneys (Yes i played with play chips) i feel like my game has improved a hell of alot and know i've got what i takes to get a nice win behind me. Im sticking to a new br management too and set a few targets

After trying to get to work this morning at 5am i turned around on my way to London due to crazy icey motorways, hav'nt seen anything like that for years!!!!!! So i got home fired up FT and ready to build up some monies.......

Hope you all had a good festive season and Happy New Year and all that shizzle.

Built the Bankroll after last November downswing in Bad Beats, Got back up too $140 and cashed 3 times in the GTD tourneys which is a good sign, Plus played ok in the Mini Ftops Event 1 placing 3500 / 16836 just short of the payouts 'was card head and dented 3times against Kings'

Few more GTD's and Ftop events and hopefully ship my first 1k prize, Oh yeah forgot to say im in a Railbirds Top 100 Freeroll with 100max and $1000 pool so looking forward to that...... My poker game needs a boost of funds so grinding it hard PLEASE SHINE POKER GODS, Laterz

After a few rocky months for my mate on Ft luck as wung his way in the past few days taking over $1000........
I got in from the pub last night and booted FT had a quick search for him and saw him sitting on the Final Tab on the FTOPS Sat #10 with 5 left. 4 places were up for grabs with him sitting in 4th with 7k and 5th on 4k. 5th person shoved UTG with a instant call from the chip leader busting him, Nice tourney dollars worth $322 after him spending $22 in total with an add-on. Few days before he did the same sort of thing on the $33 sat to FTP series ESP which he sattied into aswell, Placing tied 1st taking another $266.
Also 2nd in $26 45manner and 2nd in $11 45manner taking $383 home not a shabby week at all mate!!!!!!!

As for me i woke up this morning entered 2 $5 45manners and winning 1 and just missed out on the final table on the other, Playing in the 10k GTD later before i take a 10 day break due to the fact i've got too go to Germany working woopiebloodywooo

Up Down Down Down -------- Bang

Right then........ Got something to write about again, Its been around a month now while trying out this new plan of mine ( it was shit really) while juggling my poker around my pointless full time job... Up and Down $'s for weeks while hitting my take 2 $50 bonus too yippee, rollin big time with $65 in the BR hahaha, within 2 two days was running bad with the Donks shoving left right and centre in every $5 45manners i played, made the cash twice out of about 8 to 10 ...... and went into a single figure BR, so i moved down to the $1 sng's 9 and 27 and even freerolls placed 13th in the UK also cashed in the OFC and Chatscard freeroll. I Slowly got my flow back and some dollars getting a 4th place in the Railbirds $300 Pl Holdem event too earning $24 for a 4hour grind !!!!!
I was up all last night and went tilt for 6hours playing out of my range and was down to $50 after starting the night off with $103 BR like a true twat. 4.30am i decided to play my last sng of the night/morning starting off with $56 in the BR before i signed in (for the first time) a $10 45manner sng. I only went and took the f*ckin the whole thing down and getting the 1st spot winning $171....... and beating 7 yanks and a Russian on the Final Table and was sitting 2nd short stack at the start and was flew the flag for us Brits.

@ Amatay hope the foot as ok and will pass the msg next time i pop too see Dave and blaze his shunk..... and will defo get Pornay link up too. All about Carmella Bing and her Jubbles!!!! Good luck in Dublin and take Channing down for me

Right then People this is my first poker blog, Hopefully your enjoy it but it wont be as good a Amatay's but i'll give it a whirl, Starting off ive been playing poker alot online and a handfull of live games for around a year..... I would love to make a living out of but its hard at atm mo because im trying to build a nice bankroll to kick it off "$96 at the mo" with no deposit from my card but things are changing, ive think found my way to make cash but will keep the blog updated.
